Seemingly from a golden age of automobile craftsmanship, the 2015 Jeep Chief Concept is a Jeep like we’ve been wanting them to create since the glory days of the Cherokee in the 70’s. Like most modern revisions of older models, this Jeep concept is made to look like it’s made of steel with a hint of modern flair, which we adore. Unlike most modern revisions however, this is a 2015 Jeep Chief. Not many people heard of this car in comparison to the Ford Bronco or the Jeep Cherokee, two models that we think this thing takes quite a bit of inspiration from. For those of you that don’t remember the older model from the 70’s, this new one looks similar, but way more amazing.
Looking more like a Ford Bronco than a Jeep, this concept car brings us back, and we love it. Hopefully one of the higher ups at Jeep will have the wisdom to actually produce some of these.
This concept was brought to show at the annual Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah. Of the seven concepts, this one looked the most amazing. Powered by a 3.-6 liter Pentastar V6 engine with a six speed manual transmission with a two inch life kit, this thing is an absolute beast. Not to mention the beautiful Ocean Blue paint job that they decided to go with, not only is the 2015 Jeep Chief Concept a real machine, but it’s a looker as well. I mean just look at her.
Currently, there are no plans to build it the new concept, but we can always hope, can’t we? It sure would be awesome to see cars like this back on the road.
Some more juicy pictures to help you remember what automobile manufacturing use to mean. This thing is an exquisite piece of art that manufacturers don’t seem to think people want anymore. Leave a comment at the bottom if you would want to own one of these things!
